At Southport Piano / Music Academy we have run various musical holiday clubs over the past five years. These have been of great value to the children.

 

We have done keyboard clubs, theory and even karaoke clubs. In these clubs, activities have included learning improvisation skills, rhythm cups, song writing, music theory and singing. We made these sessions a lot of fun!

 

The children have really enjoyed working in small groups and they have proved to be a great success. We are due to take some of our methods from these group musical sessions into schools in Southport in the near future.  

 

Update:

In January 2022 we will be taking our theory and practical course into schools and teaching primary pupils. Enhancing music education in schools is extremely close to our hearts. This is a very exciting endeavour after coming out of the Covid pandemic.
